Bobby Burns

Bobby Burns

1 measure sweet vermouth
1 measure Scotch whisky
3 dashes of Benedictine

Shake the ingredients well with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Decorate with a twist of lemon peel.

This is one of the best of the whisky cocktails, as befits a drink named in honour of Scotland's greatest poet.
